Description

MAGNI PARK is a park builder made of chunky plastic bricks, laid out on a table in a real room. You build it from above like the toy set it is, with track, stations, gardens and a monorail that circles the whole thing, and then you drop in at two and a half centimetres tall and walk the paths you drew.

Queue at your own rides. Ride them from the seat. Play the carnival stalls with your hands. Walk off the edge of the table and fall to the carpet among the furniture. Open your park and somebody can walk in and do all of it with you, in the same train, while you are both two and a half centimetres tall.

Build a theme park on your desk. Then shrink down and ride it.

Features

What makes it unusual

There are no asset files

Every mesh, texture, icon and sound in MAGNI PARK is generated when the game runs. There is not a single image in the build. That is why the whole game is about six hundred kilobytes over the wire and starts instantly in a browser tab.

The balance is measured, not guessed

three.js core is pure mathematics, so the entire park, its crowd and its economy run headless in Node with no GPU. Every balance number in the game was measured by simulation rather than estimated: rides per visit, the split between gate, ride and shop income, and the best ticket price at five different park sizes.

Video & images

Five press stills at 1920×1080 are in press/store/, and twelve finished vertical videos (1080×1920, H.264, 20 to 34 s, no audio so you can lay your own over them) are in promo/. All of it is rendered straight out of the running game, so any of it can be remade after an update.

Permission is granted to use any of it, including in monetised videos. No request needed.
